Personal message
It’s 94.7 time and this year I’m riding with the Kilometres for Kids team. Please help me to raise funds for The Lonely Road Foundation. They work with the rural community to create independent Drop-In Centres and Early Childhood Development Centres in Ga-Dikgale, Limpopo.
The Drop-in Centres give orphaned and vulnerable children a place to get a cooked meal every day after school, assistance with their homework, opportunity to wash their uniforms and clothing, emotional support and a safe place to play and learn.
By providing Identity Documents, social grants, cooked meals, emotional support, education, extramural activities and the chance for creative expression, these children are given the chance to change their circumstances and enter educational institutions on an even footing.
Every donation is greatly appreciated no matter how small.

Aluwani Foundation NPC

The Aluwani vision is a simple one. We want happy, healthy and secure children in rural communities.
For the last 10 years we have strived to give the community of Ga-Dikgale the right tools to support orphaned and vulnerable children. We believe in teaching people skills that can be passed down for generations, creating self-sustaining growth within these communities. Ultimately we believe in developing a strong community who want to help the youth, and who believe just like us, that “it takes a village to raise a child”.
