Team TELL’s mission is to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation.

TELL (Transplant Education for Living Legacies) educates both the public and healthcare professionals in an effort to break the stigmas and misinformation around organ and tissue donation.

We encourage anyone who wants to donate their organs to TELL THEIR TRIBE of their wishes to be an organ and tissue donor. Awareness is critical, and we firmly believe that the most crucial part of improving the organ donation environment is conversation.

TELL is a self funded organisation that relies on financial donations to reach its objectives. Funds are used for various projects including gifting children awaiting transplants, giving nurses educational talks and reading material, as well as lectures to medical students and providing them with scrub caps. We look forward to reaching our 947 fundraising goal this year which will assist in raising organ and tissue donation and increasing the number of transplantations in South Africa.
