It takes a lot for a person to start a fundraiser; however, I have built up enough courage to do this today in order to seek donations.

I have a heart arrhythmia and irregular heartbeat which affects my everyday life. My heart rate goes up to 250 beats per minute during these episodes, and being rushed to the hospital has become a normality.

This has not only affected me physically but mentally as well.

After many consultations with doctors and cardiologists, we have come to the conclusion that my heart procedure will cost me about R300,000 in total. I obviously do not have such a big lump sum of money lying around, and it would take me forever to save this amount.

Medical aid will only cover my chronic illness after a year, and I fear something might happen in the duration of that year that I cannot come back from.

So I am seeking as much help and donations as possible to help me reach my target in order to have my procedure done so I can live a normal life.

I have a beautiful baby girl who I want to spend as much time as possible with, but my chronic condition restricts me from even being able to get out of bed.
