This campaign aims to raise funds for four South African students: Christelle Morgado, Orefile Malebo, Pheliwe Xhalisa, and Tarryn Williams. They currently work as Educational Technologists at North-West University in South Africa. The purpose of the campaign is to support their attendance at the University of Georgia in America for their graduation.

These four students have been given the opportunity to pursue a Master's in Education (M.Ed.) in Learning, Design & Technology – Instructional Design & Development at the University of Georgia. Their graduation is scheduled for December 2024, and the ceremony will take place at the University of Georgia Chapel, Herty Dr, Athens, GA 30602, USA.

While grateful for the chance to complete their degrees, they have always dreamt of attending their graduation ceremony in person. Unfortunately, they lack the financial means to make this dream a reality, given their family and personal responsibilities. Hence, they are seeking support to cover expenses such as accommodation, flight fares, and travel expenses.

The estimated budget breakdown per person is as follows: R25,000 for flights and R25,000 for travel and accommodations, totaling R50,000 per person. With four individuals in need, the campaign aims to raise a total of R200,000. Attending the graduation in person would be a life-changing experience for them, and any support provided is greatly appreciated.

This moment isn't merely about attending a ceremony; it's about honoring the sacrifices made by us and our families and recognizing the doors this achievement opens for others in similar circumstances.
