Personal message
Dear Supporters,
I'm reaching out to you with hope and determination to create a brighter future for my brother, who has faced significant challenges in recent years. We are seeking your support to fund a plumbing course that can open doors to a meaningful career.
In 2020, my family faced a series of crises. The pandemic took a toll on my mother, who, unfortunately, suffered a stroke, leading to the loss of her job as a nurse. At that time, my brother was the sole breadwinner, and the pressure on him became immense. Unfortunately, he turned to drugs as a coping mechanism, leading to a downward spiral.
Despite our efforts, including investing in a high-quality rehabilitation program, my brother struggled with an underlying mental health condition called 'psychosis.' This chemical imbalance in the brain, exacerbated by substance use, made it challenging for him to maintain stability.
After a difficult journey involving hospitalization and a three-month stay in a mental institution, my brother is on the path to recovery. However, the impact on his employment and financial stability has been significant. He has been actively seeking work, but his mental health challenges hinder his ability to secure a job.
Now, with the opportunity for my brother to work in our grandfather's plumbing company overseas, we see a chance for a fresh start. The catch is that we need to fund the plumbing course that will equip him with the necessary skills.
Your support will not only contribute to his education but also empower my brother to rebuild his life and regain financial independence. We believe in his potential for recovery and a brighter future.
If you've ever witnessed the impact of addiction on a loved one, you understand the complexities of this journey. Your compassion and support can make a significant difference. Please join us in providing my brother with the opportunity for a new beginning.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
In sharing our story, I am not seeking pity but striving to make a positive change for my brother. If you've experienced the challenges of addiction in your own life, I appreciate your understanding and empathy.
Thank you for your time and support.
