Personal message

I will be part of a diverse group of people trekking up Kilimanjaro in July 2019 for a common purpose of raising funds for the Sandton SPCA. Climbing costs have been paid for and all funds collected will be used for the care and treatment of abandoned, lost, unwanted and abused animals in the SPCA's safe keeping and to help end animal cruelty in South Africa and to educate and engender compassion for all animals.

Animal abuse and neglect is something that can only be countered through education, pet care training and youth enrichment at a grass roots level.  Our Inspectorate and Education team work tirelessly to promote positive attitudes such as compassion, empathy and respect for all life through education and outreach programmes.
