Personal message
I wear my heart on my sleeve, in every action, every word, and every intention. It's through this genuine approach that I find solace in prayer -- an open connection to the universe, expecting nothing in return yet often surprised by its undeniable response. There's a part of me that resonates deeply with art, fashion, and the digital realm, where I can mold and shape beauty into something truly captivating. Nature, untouched by man's hand, holds a special place in my heart, and occasionally, my art reflects that untouched allure.
My dream takes me far from the comforts of home and into the unexplored territory of Cape Town. Pursuing a Diploma in Animation with The Animation School seems like the perfect opportunity for growth and self-discovery. I believe that the conditions there will fuel my creativity, for while I'm already acquainted with the vibrant artistic scene in Johannesburg, Cape Town offers its own unique lane of inspiration to humble me. Animation isn't simply about drawing for me; it's a medium through which I can weave immersive stories, express my opinions, and take a stand. It empowers me to ask thought-provoking questions and share my voice with the world.
I was nourished by animation as a child, and I know countless other children are still captivated by its magic. I yearn to be part of their journey, directing them towards valuable lessons, meaningful experiences, and shaping their perspectives for the better. Although I only studied Graphic Design briefly last year as a stepping stone towards animation, I am driven by a desire to make a direct impact rather than delaying my pursuit any further.
This is where I humbly ask for your support and assistance. Together, we can transform this dream into a tangible reality. Your contributions, whether financial or simply spreading the word, hold immense value. Some may have the means to support me directly, while others can help create awareness among a wider audience. Every bit counts, and I'm committed to making the most of this opportunity before late registrations close on the 28th of February 2024. Part of these funds is for accomodation costs, travel etc.
