Personal message

A team of 12 passionate cyclists will be taking on the Maluti Double90 time trial – which is a crazy 180km cycle race. The event happens on Saturday 14 April 2018.

Every year in South Africa, almost 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer. Our socio-economic challenges, and generally poor level of awareness of warning signs of childhood cancer, means that a large number of these children are diagnosed very late into their illness. As a result, they face a difficult battle and sadly, treatment comes too late.

“Shut up & Ride” members are on a mission to raise awareness and funds for children fighting cancer.

Our chosen charity, Rainbows and Smiles provide emotional, social and financial support to families in need when a child is diagnosed with cancer. Their mission is to give these warriors the best quality of life.

Together with Rainbows and Smiles we strive to advocate for awareness on the early warning signs!
