The year was 2019...

On the eve of my birthday, I set myself some big goals to celebrate my fiftieth year on Earth. One of them was to take part in one last Ironman.

Well. We all know what happened then.

So here I am on the eve of my 52nd birthday, and with two new grandsons in my life. IRONGRAN is BACK, baby!

My relationship with the incredible team at the Smile Foundation began in 2013. In 2014 and 2016, I was part of the Ironman for the Smile Foundation Team. I love this cause. I love the support from all involved. And I LOVE to smile!

I guarantee you that I will SMILE on 3 April 2022 to acknowledge this wonderful charity and all the wonderful folk I know who will be rooting for me.

All I want for my birthday is to raise LOTS of money for the Smile Foundation. I know you'll help me get there!
