My brother, Shane Michael van den Aardweg is a 20 year old student at the University of Johannesburg, from Germiston in the East of Johannesburg South Africa . Not only is he compassionate, dedicated and earnest, he is an ace football player too.

Shane started playing football at the age of 5 and it was soon apparent that he took after his late father in the football department; receiving accolade after accolade.

Shane’s skill has been recognised and he has been offered a scholarship to attend college in the United States.

However, the scholarship does not cover all costs relating to VISA’s, administration, accommodation and tuition and there is a shortfall of $20000 (R367500) My mom and I would really love to help Shane achieve his dream and give him this once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only will Shane have the opportunity to play football at this level, but he will also be eligible to study towards a masters degree in Sports Science where he can provide value to other football players who come up through the ranks.

The Funds raised will help pay all those expenses that the scholarship doesn’t cover and the receipts will be made available for you to see.
