Dear Friend/ Colleague

We are a group of three enthusiastic cyclists - started cycling only in August 2012. We took part in the Momentum 94,7 Challenge for the first time and our time was quite impressive for first timers. We are riding the Cape Argus Cycle Challenge for the first time this year (2013) and have decided to use this as an opportunity to raise funds for an organization that is very close in our hearts - MaAfrika Tikkun.

MaAfrika Tikkun's aim is to make a significant diffirence in a child's life, by giving them a chance to a better future. Find out more about MaAfrika Tikkun at http://www.africatikkun.org

Our goal is to assist in sending 5 children to school (which equates to R10 800), by March 2013, who would not have the opportunity to do so.

Afrika Tikkun

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
