With 2010 FIFA World Cup around the corner, the soccer fever is beginning.
Children in the Wilderness Botswana and Wilderness Safaris are proud to announce the Soccer in the Wilderness Tournament.
Over a period of three months the Sefofane Skimmers will be participating in a soccer tournament between 6 teams made up of Sefofane Staff Members and Botswana staff from each concession.
The play-offs will be taking place in March and the Final will be played at Vumbura Plains on the 1st May 2010.
The aim of Soccer in the Wilderness Tournament is to raise funds for Children in the Wilderness Botswana.
Children in the Wilderness is an environmental and life skills educational programme that focuses on the next generation of rural decision makers. It is one of the few programmes aimed at bridging the divide that exists between communities and wildlife.
The Sefofane Skimmers need all the support from friends, family and colleagues. Please assist us in reaching our targets to raise money for Children in the Wilderness Botswana and show your support to the Skimmers for all their hard work and dedication to the tournament.
