Personal message
Hi, we are Sange and Milowo Matebese. We are siblings with an emense love an passion for sports, health and fitness. We have been playing touch rugby for a number of years (Sange - 10 years and Milowo - 6 years) and have recently been given the opportunity to both represent our country as part of the SA Mixed Open Touch Rugby Squad, that will compete at the Atlantic World Cup in Nottingham, UK in July of 2024.
We have always played this sport on the same team and to be able to represent our country together as siblings, is an absolute honour.
Touch Rugby however, is a pay to play sport thus we have to turn to raising funds and looking for sponsorships in order to compete. We have achieved so many things already in the sport in working towards this very moment.
Milo had the chance to go to World Cup earlier in 2023, but unfortunately had to pull out due to a lack of finances. To make a senior team from a junior team is HUGE!!!
Funds raised will go towards our kit, flights, accommodation and travel expenses in the UK. It will also support other sundry expenses such as individual registration fees etc.
Any sort of donation will be welcomed and highly appreciated! Should a donation be made, please may it kindly be put directly into the South African Touch Association account with the reference of Sange and Milowo Matebese.
