My name is Michelle Hamilton and I am a single mother to an awesome 12 year old boy named Rylee.
Rylee was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 5 years old and as part of his therapy started taking part in Judo.
Besides the benefits with his ADHD, he absolutely loved the sport and proved to be quite good at it.
Over the following years he progressed through the different gradings and currently holds a brown belt
In February 2024, he took part in the South African National Ranking Event in Pretoria where he came first in his weight category and won a Gold.
As a result of his ranking, he was chosen to be part of the South African Team to go to the Commonwealth Judo Championships in Malta. (link below)

I am a paramedic and a single mother, and my current financial status will not allow me to pay for him to take part in this once in a lifetime experience and opportunity.
The Funds raised will be used to pay fot the visa, flights, accomodation and entry fees for the championship
