Personal message

In celebration of my 10th Midmar Mile, I have taken on the challenge of swimming acrosd the dam twice. I am also doing this in memory of my Princess Sadie, the little fighter that she was, who is now a shining star. All funds go to the Rare Disease Society of South Africa to help less fortunate families who have a loved one battling with a rare disease. Just keep swimming...

Rare Diseases South Africa

Charity Default Logo

Rare Diseases South Africa, formerly the Rare Disease Society of South Africa, was founded in 2013 by Kelly du Plessis. Founded out of personal need after the diagnosis of Kelly’ son, it quickly became evident that there was a lack of support and awareness on rare diseases in South Africa.
