I will be running the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon at the end of March and I thought it would be fitting to both raise awareness and if possible through your generosity, money for an organisation that helps young, disadvantaged amputees experience the joy of living a full life, whether that be simply walking, or winning medals at the paralympics such as one of Jumping Kids own, Ntando Mahlangu, who won a silver medal at age 14 at the 2016 Paralympics.

About Jumping Kids:
Jumping Kids was launched in 2009 by Johan Snyders with the dream of supplying latest prosthetic limb technology to children.

He became aware of the thousands of children living with amputations without access to adequate prostheses or rehabilitation.

Recognizing the opportunity for development, the Jumping Kids Prosthetic Fund was born.

Jumping Kids is a registered not-profit that provides prosthetic solutions to those who need it most, disadvantaged children

Jumping Kids Prosthetic Fund

Jumping Kids supplies and maintains prosthetics for children. We maintain this support for at least 2 years from inclusion, but ultimately we would like to support the kids until they have completed school. Our mandate is to provide amputee children with the tools that assit them to be contributing memebers of society. We consider these tools to be:

Access to prosthetic equipment and maintenace thereof;
access to mainstream schooling;
access to sporting opportunities.

With this support, these children have the chance at creating a future like any of their able bodied peers.

We currently support over 80 children around the country
