Hi, I'm Romi Oerson, the mother of leyorin Oerson, and this is our journey story till now..so I went to the local clinic with a normal flue he had. The doctor that was there went over his body and found that his tummy area ddnt look quite normal, then she referred us to a pediatrician in khayalitsa hospital. She also found it odd and referred us to tygerberg hospital.Here I found out that my child had liver cancer and then my journey started, he had to be here for chemo every week or two.. He had to leave school also because it effected his presence at school and he was also so weak,hopefully by God's grace he's going back next year. And the journey also affected my job where I run a small business. I still got some loyal clients but most of them aren't with me anymore due to my absence.
I am a hair stylist though...im also a mother of a small baby that's being neglected by his mother becoz of this but still gets alot of love by his grandparents. The father of Leyorin and the baby currently works out in Sutherland, we not together anymore but he does fone once ina blue moon. Leyorin had chemo ever since we found out about the cancer and on the 5th of December he got a very big 6 hour liver surgery where they had to remove almost half of the liver and the gallbladder is gone with it. He's now on recovery but very much in pain still. Its really not nice going trough all this, seeing your child in pain.
My parents helps me where they can though, I really don't know what would've done without them. So that's my journey, stressed, I lost alot of weight eversince I found out but I need to be strong for him and his little brother always.
