Hippo's, Croc's and Bilharzia....never mind the 30km swim!

Four (very old and slightly fatter) school friends have made it their mission to swim across Lake Malawi in aid of raising awareness against the physical and sexual abuse of children.  Help us to be the voice of the children that have none, help us to break the never ending cycle of violence – by being a part of the solution. One child rape every 3 minutes is a statistic worth swimming for, fighting against and donating towards.

Watch these four, old, fat school friends try to make their mark by being amongst a select few to make this crossing.

The Teddy Bear Clinic for Abused Children (TTBC) originated in 1986 in response to an urgent need for medical examinations for sexually abused children. From there it has grown into a fully fledged service for abused children which includes: Forensic medical examinations, forensic assessments, counseling, psychological testing and more recently a diversion programme for youth sexual offenders. As an NGO, our concern is not only to support children and families affected by abuse but also to promote: “CHILD ABUSE NO MORE”.
