I will be riding my 5th 94.7 Joburg cycle challenge. I am really looking forward to the race after missing out last year due to injury. I will again be raising funds for the www.botshabelo.org.za charity based in Midrand.

Botshabelo was established in the year 2000 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), focusing on children’s foundation education and transforming teaching approach in South Africa through a partnership with low-income communities. The NPO is constituted by a committed and passionate group of diverse team members. Over the last 20 years, we have reached more than 85 500 beneficiaries across rural and peri-urban areas through our various programmes.
There are four catalytic programmes that Botshabelo focuses on:
- Babies home (Residential care for orphaned babies).
- UpliftED teacher training programmes (Early Childhood Development Training).
- Urban Kids Educare Centre ( Foundation education).
- Urban Closet (2nd Hand Shop)
