My name is Andries. I am 80 years old.
A few days ago I learnt that my grandson will have no income during the summer holidays. As I have a small pension myself, I can not help my him and his family to buy food. I hope that family and friends will assist me to relief the worries of this family. My grandson, Rian, 27 years old, his wife with two children, one 3 years old the other I years old, lives in Barrydale, a small Karoo village in the Western Cape. As he still has a health problem, he is not able to find an income during the summer holidays.
Due to bad heart problems the last two years, Rian could not work. During July this year he manged to find an income as labourer for R160day. Last weak the workshop where he works, closed for the summer holidays. Being a day to day worker there was no pay for him. This mean that he cannot supply in food and electricity for his wife and children. The poor families in the small town suffer as during the summer holidays there is a lack for work and income.
Should I raise the money, Rian and his family will be able to survive until January 2024, when he can return to his work and as he now got his code 10 drivers licence with a pdp. he will become a permanet worker with a higher income.
Thank you for hearing my heart and that I can rely on you to rescue this family with a small donation.
