Yet another 400km iconic Journey Challenge run for a purpose has arrived for 2023.
As one of the 12 privileged participants, I will contribute to the cause by running the 400km Challenge in 8 days, from the 23rd to the 30th of July, in Eastern Cape, to promote social change in our rural communities and townships through running.
This initiative aims to raise funds for the benefit of over 2000 underprivileged kids Nationally with School shoes, Sports Kits and other necessities like sanitary towels.
Please join this Journey for a good cause with a donation of any amount that you can contribute towards a life-changing initiative.

We are The Icons Journey Marathon Foundation, A nonprofit subsidiary of The Icons Journey Marathon (Pty) Ltd multi-sporting event.
We are looking to raise enough funds to continue the good work we started in 2018 through our CSI initiative named Promote Sport For Social Change. We are promoting the sport to uplift our underprivileged rural and township communities. Over the years special focus has been on the schools in these communities.
Funds raised from this 400km Iconic Challenge will benefit over 4000 of these school kids in school shoes, sanitary towels, sports kits Nationally.
The event takes place in Eastern Cape in three district municipalities namely (Amathole, Chris Hani, and O.R Tambo Districts). Funds raised will however benefit schools Nationally.
Since 2018 we have been able to raise funds that have benefited over 500 village and township school pupils. With this initiative, we will amplify this number.
