Personal message

Super Bike Champion Ronald Slamet, The Red Baron, works with Vault Markets to make children's dreams come true.

Home of Hope is a local Charity Organisation that cares for abandoned, abused, and neglected children with a focus on children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) which is permanent brain damage caused by prenatal exposure to alcohol.

Ronald has a deep passion for his community and supporting the youth to make their dreams come true. He is lucky to be living his dream of becoming a Bike Champion and wants to inspire others.

All donations will be used towards paying for Home of Hope children to get through school in 2024 and to work towards helping their dreams come true. Ronald's Helmet is covered with images the kids have drawn about what they want to be when they grow up.

To support the education of kids who need extra financial help, to give them the boost they deserve to reach their dreams.

This Helmet will be auctioned off at the end of the year, and the funds will go into the educational support kitty.

Charity Default Logo

Home of Hope was started in 2005, and we are an NPO that cares for abandoned and abused children and children with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD – permanent brain damage caused by pre-natal exposure to alcohol). We are a registered place of safety and we have 19 children in our long term community based foster care.

The organisation also caters for the special educational needs of children suffering from FAS (Foetal Alcohol Syndrome) and neurological challenges, in our Amathemba Learning Centre. There are currently 37 children at our Amathemba Learning Centre.
