SADD, an expert Road Safety NGO advocates for safer roads and highlights the fact that many SA road crashes are preventable and that our 14000+ deaths & many injuries are unacceptable. Funding for our NGO has dried up with Covid-19, yet our crashes still continue with little attention being paid to stop this carnage. Runners are especially vulnerable to being killed by intoxicated drivers whose vision is impaired when they drive home in the early morning,so dont see runners,and kill them
Reaching our target will allow us to :
1) Support DUI victims
2) Share evidence-based practices with the Depts. of Transport & Health
3) Continue to put pressure on the Government to act on alcohol abuse, drunk driving & basic road safety.
Funds raised will be used to help us continue working, pay our administrative fees for rental, telephones & basic administrative fees for 2 months.

South Africans Against Drunk Driving (SADD) are a specialised Road Safety and Drink Driving organization. We provide education to schools and tertiary institutions throughout SA. We support the victims of drink driving and provide grief literature and other assistance. We act as a media resource centre.
