PRETORIA TO PINETOWN MTB CHALLENGE FOR RAINBOWS AND SMILES

Personal message

Mountain Biking enthusiasts and friends, Philip Riggien, Shaun Knowles, Bruce Knowles and Luke Dinkel, have made a decision to raise some much-needed funds for Rainbows And Smiles by riding their mountain bikes from Pretoria to Pinetown.

They will be cycling down to Pinetown during October 2020 and anticipate this ride to take 6 days.

The plan is to leave Pretoria on the 24 October 2020 and cycle on district roads and in the bush down to Pinetown. For most of this trip, they will be sleeping in tents along the way. 

They have chosen to support Rainbows And Smiles (a small charity supporting kidz with cancer) as it is a charity close to Philip’s heart, his own daughter is a childhood cancer survivor and the Riggien family are closely associated with this charity.
