Personal message

Salem is our first born, ever since we can remember he loved singing and being on stage.

Growing up on the Cape Flats in Mitchell's Plain, his very first performance was at a Valentines Day school concert, and we just knew it was the start o something amazing.

He is only 16 but has a way thinking and an understanding of life beyond his years, we are so proud of him. He has written more than 20 songs, beautiful heartfelt lyrics that would touch so many lives. 

His writing is deep and meaningful, it portrays a message that the world needs to heart.

Salem is inspired by a few artists writing style and sound, good music that even us as middle aged parents love to listen. 

We are a family of music lovers. We love to sing and listen to music, so when he was little we thought it's just natural as we all love music, but very soon we realized his music is everything to him, at 16 you will find him in only his room writing music or listening to music, nothing else appeals to him more.than his music.

When he speaks of his music, and his future sound and the overall esthetic and feel of his music, I can tell that he will be making music that will be timeless and will be speaking to all ages. 

He leans toward the alternate, soft rock style music, and from what we can tell it will be such a unique style and sound. 

We believe with all our heart that any parent would want to give such a child the boost they need. 

Having a dream and vision is great, but the costs involved with the project is proving to be a huge challenge. So we decided to give this a try.

We have seen some amazing outcomes by Backer campaigns and hope this will make his dream a reality.

A Great Lebanese Producer, Julian Cassia will be helping Salem with to co-write and refine and EP of 5 songs, Record, Master and Produce the EP.  He sees Salem's vision and we know he will help take our son to where he wants to be in life.

He will assist with everything from branding, to reaching out to PR companies and designing the music fit for TV, film and video games and radio, aswell as streaming platforms. His knowledge and expertise is beyond what we could ever do on our own, and he promised to guide us every step of the way in our son's music journey.

What he offers is amazing and we know that anything is possible, but we need your help. 

Each and every backer will be first in line when Salem's EP is release, we will also be designing T-Shirts and more merchandise within our budget to get his brand known. Each backer will be getting free T-Shirts and whatever merchandise will be out within our budget.

We need to raise a total if R300 000 to pay for the production of his EP, his branding and equipment for his home studio.

We can take a lifetime to save this money or a month to raise this.
