Dear friends
I invite you to partner with me as I put on the Botshabelo Purple Cycling Kit and rides 94kms on Sunday the 17th of November to help raise funds and awareness for Botshabelo Babies home.
As a local NPO BOtshabelo is passionate about partnering into our community to transform lives. Each year the funds the Purple Peloton raises empowers Botshabelo to continue the workthey do into the lives of over 4 000 women and children each year!

Botshabelo was established in the year 2000 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), focusing on children’s foundation education and transforming teaching approach in South Africa through a partnership with low-income communities. The NPO is constituted by a committed and passionate group of diverse team members. Over the last 20 years, we have reached more than 85 500 beneficiaries across rural and peri-urban areas through our various programmes.
There are four catalytic programmes that Botshabelo focuses on:
- Babies home (Residential care for orphaned babies).
- UpliftED teacher training programmes (Early Childhood Development Training).
- Urban Kids Educare Centre ( Foundation education).
- Urban Closet (2nd Hand Shop)
