Personal message

Thank you for taking the time out to make a difference. The old cliché, "every cent counts" is so true when it comes to Cancer research.

I am looking for R1-00 sponsorship for every 1km travelled in the Momentum 94.7 race. If you feel you want to donate larger amounts, we will gladly accept anything affordable to your pocket.

I have chosen to ride this race for a very special “little person” that touched our lives.

Roan Dales was diagnosed with a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) - an inoperable brain tumour in the brain stem. There too is no known cure for this type of Cancer.

Roan has shown me what it is like to fight and be brave and strong. He was an inspiration to everybody that knew him. Roan’s courageous heart and warming smile will be in my memory forever and I thank God for letting him spend 5 joyous years with us.

I also thank God for blessing me with a healthy life and I want to make a difference to every “little person” possible, be it R1-00 at a time.
