The annual MIDMAR MILE is a well-known fixture in the South African outdoor/swimming calendar. Many people swim in support of various causes, and now Maxine Stevenson has opted to take on the challenge to raise funds for PAWS R US (SA) and the 220 rescued dogs in our care! We are the BIGGEST FANS of all humans who want to help those who are the most vulnerable in this world, and we are SUPER GRATEFUL to Maxine for choosing our furry orphans as her beneficiaries. Maxine is just like you and I - her greatest daily fitness feat is walking from her car into the house... but now, she is raising the bar and setting herself a BIG challenge - all driven by her love of rescued dogs. We ask you to PLEASE SUPPORT MAXINE in this wonderful undertaking, and to PLEASE SUPPORT PAWS R US (SA) in this fundraising drive! 

 

PAWS R US (SA) is a Pro-Life Animal Shelter based in Midrand, JHB. Our monthly operating costs are R100 000 and, as with all shelters, we are battling to stay afloat. We are also just coming out of the toughest time in animal welfare, with increased numbers as a result of the holiday season and the usual abandonment cases. And of course, increased numbers at our shelter site leads to increased costs. PLEASE SUPPORT MAXINE's CAMPAIGN to SUPPORT OUR SHELTER and OUR DOGS at this critical time of the year. We ask you to SHARE the campaign widely, and if you are able to donate, every cent counts! Thank you all, and THANK YOU MAXINE!
