Ntando is my car mechanic who is very brilliant at what he does and has an outstanding work ethic.
He was hit with a stone as a young boy growing up in Zimbabwe and what started off as a tiny bump grew bigger and bigger to the size that it is today. It constantly gets inflamed and bleeds from time to time.
Although he's bravely pushing through life and continues to work as a car mechanic, this condition restricts him in many ways to live a normal life.
He has been to many doctors but since he has no medical aid, it's not possible for him to pay for this much needed surgery.
The initial surgery has been estimated at R70,000 so in case he needs a follow up procedure we'd like to raise an additional R50,000 to cover that and post surgical care.
Alternatively, if there are any cosmetic surgeons who can assist with their free services, Ntando will greatly appreciate that too.
