Welcome to our birth story.
On the 28th December 2022, our baby had hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy at birth which is a type of brain damage caused by a lack of oxygen at birth .This has affected our baby's abilities to swallow/eat , speech and movement because it directly affects the brain and needs daily care.
We have a amazing medical team that is helping our baby to make sure she reach all her milestones during the last 11 months. We have found other medical procedures that can help our baby daughter.
We are currently working with company Neurogenesis that will help our daughter develop new brain pathways/patterns and will definitely be beneficial for development especially in the brain. This procedure doesn't get covered by our medical aid and that is why we are seeking a donation of R50000 to cover all cost.All funds will be used for the medical procedure.
We need to raise this amount as we want the best for our daughter.
