Hello, My name is Nicole, Table View, Cape Town.

The Cape Town Cycle Tour is coming up in October and this year I will be riding for the Red Cross Memorial Children's Hospital to raise funds to assist with the upgrade and expansion of the emergency centre used to help many sick children in need.

Experience the spirit and excitement of South Africa’s most beautiful cycling event, while changing the lives of the little ones at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital!

The 43rd edition of the Cape Town Cycle Tour is scheduled to take place on 10 October 2021

In 2019, the Children’s Hospital Trust started raising funds to upgrade and expand the Emergency Centre at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. A significant amount of R122 million was needed to complete the project over 2 phases: Phase 1 completed in October 2020, and Phase 2 scheduled to be completed in January 2022.

Now, R122 million is no small feat, and, thanks to the help of our generous and loyal donors, we are edging closer to the finish line and require R 7 million to complete the project, by equipping the Emergency Centre.

Let us work together to raise funds for the Children who really need the help and the upgrade of the emergency centre which serves so many in our community.

All funds raised will be paid directly to the relevant institution.

A hospital dedicated entirely to children – especially children predominantly from impoverished communities throughout Africa – is critically important. So important, that it needs a champion to make sure that it’s able to keep doing the phenomenal work it does.

That champion is the Children’s Hospital Trust.
