Personal message

I am raising monies for The Recovery Foundation. Every cent goes towards helping those without sufficient resources to find freedom from slavery to drugs, alcohol, gambling, eating disorders and sex/love addiction.  We help people get into treatment programs and provide support structures via sports and other means to help create a healthy environment in which people can recover.

This is my second race to raise money for the Recovery Foundation. I am now ten months clean. Without financial support from several sources, I would never have made it this far. It felt amazing to contribute towards a good cause and participating in this also uplifted me tremendously. It has given me a wonderful sense of belonging and I hope to pass this experience on to others. I also managed to accomplish something by cycling in the 94.7. This time it's the 108km around the Cape. All in the name of The Recovery Foundation.

Please support me in meeting my target. R5 or R500.. Or R1 for every kilometre I complete.

Please help me by supporting my cause. Every little bit counts.
