Dear Friends
Life has a funny way of throwing us curve balls when we least expect it. Two years ago I lost my beloved husband unexpectedly - leaving me and my 9 year old son behind.
Overnight our world turned upside down. My husband was not only the love of my life, but also the soul provider for our family.
In the midst of grieving and trying to come to terms with our new reality, I found myself facing a daunting challenge; how to provide for myself and my son.
With no savings to fall back on, I needed to find a way to make ends meet. That's when I turned to the one thing we had left - our trusty bakkie Betsy.
My husband used his bakkie for his small business and I decided to follow in his footsteps. Unfortunately with no experience in the Construction industry, I could not continue my husband's legacy. Despite never ever having done anything like it before, I started using the bakkie for small removals i.e. rubble and small loads to generate a small income into our household.
However disaster has struck again. Our faithful bakkie, the lifeline of our little family needs a complete engine overhaul. Without it I am unable to work and we find ourselves on the edge of uncertainty. That's why I'm reaching out to you all today.
I've come to realize that asking for help is the bravest thing we can do. With your support, I hope to raise enough funds to repair our bakkie so that I am able to continue with my removal services.
Every donation no matter how small, will make a difference. With your support, I can turn this setback into an opportunity for growth.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting us in our time of need.
With gratitude
Natalie
