The students from Waterberg Karate Academy have been selected to represent South Africa at the JSKA 27th Shotokan Development Championships on April 4th to 7th, 2024, in Swakopmund, Namibia. We need to raise funds for 17 students and their parents to be able to compete in this Championship.
We are a small town in the heart of Limpopo province and have been very busy trying to reach our goal of sending our students. Wearing Green & Gold for our country will be a great honour.
We will be able to send students to compete in this Championship to develop their karate skills and compete against other African Countries, build relationships with fellow students and explore the beautiful country of Namibia. Most of the students have never been on an aeroplane or left the borders of South Africa. It will be a fantastic experience for them.
R10 000 per student for plane/bus tickets, shuttle transportation, accommodation, meals, Competition entry fee, and SA Colours Kit.

Waterberg Karate Development Fund NPC
Waterberg Karate Development Fund NPC raises funds for karate students to be able to participate in local and international tournaments, practice sessions and tours.
We also see raising funds to develop the sport of karate as an opportunity for children who would otherwise not be able to afford to be part of such events.
We do not only sponsor the student itself but also assist parents in being able to partake in their child's achievements.
