Personal message

The mission of the SA Guide-Dog Assocation is to enhance the lives of the visually and physically impaired people (and children) with autism. SA Guide-Dog Assocation help raise and train highly qualified Guide, Service and Autisim Support Dogs. 

For Nacho's 5th birthday on 21 January 2022 and Eulogi's 40th birthday on 25 February 2022, we'd like to contribute towards the sponsorship of a litter of puppies to be trained in becoming much-needed and successful service dogs. 

The cost to train a fully qualified Assistance Dog exceeds R100,000.00! We're committing to raising R10,000.00 to aid in some way... at the end of the day, every cent can help train more Assistance Dogs which inevitably lead to SA Guide-Dog Association being able to help more people.

Since 1953, South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind (GDA) has strived to expand its offerings to the differently-abled community of Southern Africa, extending beyond Guide Dogs to include Service Dogs for people who are physically impaired, Autism Support Dogs for children with autism, and the College of Orientation & Mobility, whose Orientation & Mobility (O&M) practitioners teach people who are visually impaired to continue their lives in a safe and efficient manner and how to use a long cane as a mobility aid.
