After having been introduced to running earlier this year, I have decided to try complete the Gun Run (a half-marathon) on 9 October, and do it for a good cause.

Keeping with sport, the charity I've chosen is Africaid's WhizzKids United (http://www.whizzkidsunited.org/), a really great organisation that could do with as much support as possible. Any donation you're able to make would be greatly appreciated.

4-Oct: With 5 days to go until the run, we reached the R5,000 initial target (and far exceeded it!), so I have increased the target by 50% to R7,500. Thanks to everyone for your support - really appreciate it!
