Hello everyone. I am Mpho Selepe, a 23 year old prospective first year medical student from Mpumalanga, who has just been accepted into medical school in the University of the Free state. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to finally pursue my dream career at the age of 23, since being rejected for so many years since matric. Unfortunately I am cared for by a single parent who at this point will have to cover university registration fees for 3 children and it is too expensive. Two of the three children are eligible for NSFAS funding, unfortunately I am not due to already having a qualification and I obtained that qualification with funding from NSFAS. Your donation will help cover my registration and accommodation costs while I wait for sponsor/bursary approval which would be received when classes have already commenced mid-February. It would be greatly appreciated if the target can be reached before February 1st as I would need to pay the full fee five days prior to registering. Getting into this medical program is not just for me and I'd like to pay it forward to the community I'll be serving once I get this degree.
