In May 2018, I will be joining a group of remarkable individuals, to climb the base of Mt Everest , to raise money for the Avela Foundation. The Avela Foundation will use the proceeds raised, to provide burn survivors with adequate support on their road to recovery and to refurbish the burn unit at the Kimberly hospital.All donations are tax deductible. An 18 A receipt will be issued for all donations; as Avela has a PBO status.

Why I am doing this 
I truly believe in the saying that says , “what we achieve inwardly can really change our outward reality.” I look forward to the great journey of self discovery that this experience will bring ; going on it with other amazing individuals who live with a great sense of purpose and making a difference in the lives of young burn survivors and their families.
