Personal message

Khomotsong Care Centre for the Disabled was established by Mr and Mrs Oupa Stephen Babile’s family due to the fact that they were blessed with a disabled son. Pension Fund savings were used to establish a structure.  Mr. Babile went to be with the Lord in 2018.

The Present Position

The centre is not funded by the government or any other organisation. The survival of the centre depends mostly on Mrs. Babile, who is a pensioner, which is not sufficient to maintain the structure, cater for beneficiaries, pay for the electricity bill, pay for the corers stipend and provide proper safety and security for the beneficiaries.

 The Implications

The beneficiaries sometimes stay in the darkness due to the inability to afford the electricity bill. The carers cannot receive stipend all the months. The beneficiaries cannot receive a well-balanced diet.

The Plea

We humbly request for assistance in any of the following areas:

ü  Installation of solar electricity to cab the electricity problem.

ü  Fencing of the structure to provide safety and security in order to pursue agricultural production.

ü  Digging of a borehole in order to get sufficient water for agricultural infrastructure which will assist with a feeding scheme and further generate sustainable income.

ü  Purchasing a machine for manufacturing toilet rolls to generate self-sustainable income.

 Conclusion

·         The NPO registration is attached;

·         We will provide any information or documents upon request;

·         We also grant organizations opportunities to visit the disability centre.
