Risima Foundation has been contacted by a pensioner who was diagnosed with Fibrocystic breast disease. With this condition, breasts are tender and contain cysts. Patients who are diagnosed with fibrocystic breast disease need regular breast examinations and mammograms because of the possibility of cancer.
Risima Foundation can take the mobile mammogram to the area, raise breast cancer awareness, and do free screening.
The funds will enable us to pay for the treatment of the lady who contacted us and also be able to do mammograms for other women.

Risima Foundation is an NGO founded by Nonhlanhla Sephula after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The ignorance and not going for a mammogram screening has taught me that education and awareness is power that can be given freely.The primary focus is to help the less fortunate in our society with breast cancer awareness and treatment.
