Good day,

My name is Heinrich Pretorius, son of Mr. Louw Pretorius.

My father fell in January 2023 where he fractured his hip and pelvis, he is 71 years old, he was sent to a step-down facility afterwards, to get the Physio needed, he was discharged in March as there is no financially support to send him to a frail care facility, he was stable but shortly after he fell again and broke his shoulder, he is now 100% bedridden and need 24/7 care as it is impossible for him to hold his balance, he cannot walk at all and does not have any balance, he wears adult nappies 24/7 as well as he cannot get to the bathroom by himself. My mom needs support as well as she is not strong enough to look after him as she is struggling with her knee as well and shoulder, she has a knee replacement a couple of years ago, but it is giving her big problems.

I am in desperate need of some financial support to assist my dad to get him a Home nurse 24/7 or a caregiver that can look after him and to the necessarily at their house, cooking, cleaning, change diaper, giving medicine etc., my mother is also 71 years old and do not have the power and strength to look after him and to carry out the needs he has.

Please help us, to help my parents to get the care and help they need in this difficult time.

This help is very highly appreciated, to make things better for both my mom and my dad.
