Personal message
Hi everyone!
My name is Trinity van Beeck.
I am 10 years old, in Grade 4 at Curro Brackenfell.
My favourite subjects are Maths, English and Robotics. I work hard every day to achieve my goals and exceed expectations. I am so proud to attend one of the most amazing schools in Cape Town.
I have 2 wonderful older sisters who I look up to and who are always there to support me. Last year in February we unexpectedly lost our father. Somehow we have made it through this devastating time together, but through this I have realized that there are children out there who have experienced the same loss but who don’t have the support that I was lucky enough to have.
From a young age I have always wanted to do my part to help others, but this year I have decided to put together a plan to make a difference, and I would be so happy if you would help me make this possible.
I have chosen Afrika Tikkun as the charity I would like to support. They focus on helping children become the best possible versions of themselves, by giving them opportunities that they would otherwise not have had through educational, career and learning support.
I will be walking barefoot from Melkbos to Milnerton to raise funds for Afrika Tikkun.
I invite you to join me in making a difference.
Afrika Tikkun's Child & Youth Development Program (7 – 18 YEARS)
- Arts materials for a class for a month = R 500
- Help pay for a child’s educational support for a month = R 800
- Help pay a teacher’s salary for a month = R3500
Any donations will be greatly appreicated!
Thanks,
Trin

Afrika Tikkun

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
