Personal message

The reason that I have shown interest in RAINBOWS AND SMILES is that one of my very good friends was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago and I had the privilege of walking the journey with her and her family.

Last year, the cancer went into remission and I have seen how she has transitioned through this journey to become one of the strongest and most courageous people I know. I believe faith in God and people supporting her was the reason she overcame the illness!

Her experience has had huge impact on me, and I would like to do my part by running Comrades Marathon for Rainbow and Smiles to help support and raise funds for children fighting cancer.
