It is never easy asking for help!
It is never expected that you are going to be told you have inoperable Lung cancer (or any other form of Cancer / life threatening disease) BUT it happens!
My mom, Mathilda Colleton (most of her loved ones and Family know her as Tilly) has been diagnosed with this life threatening disease.
She has no option but Chemotherapy, she has already fought many other health battles (which has been financially draining) however has lead us to this diagnosis.
She is a fighter, she is strong willed and filled with faith and determination to face this challenge.
But we need help. As you may know with an illness like this comes mountain's of Doctors bills, scans, blood work, specialists and 24 Hour Care. With this being the beginning phases we forsee a lot more bills coming and as her daughter I just want some peace of mind for her only worry to be getting better and not financial stress.
The costs are just becoming unmanageable and any amount that you might be able to spare will be used to pay for these expenses.
We know times are tough for everyone and it Is difficult to ask for help knowing this, however if you are in the position to assist your generosity would be appreciated more than you know.
She will undergo 5 months of chemotherapy (to start and then Dr's will re-evaluate) and will need to be in a 24hr care facility through this. These facilities Charge between R15000.00 to R20 000.00pm.
Any funds raised can be paid directly to the service providers.
