Personal message
I have seen many children walking to school barefoot during the rainy season and winter. This has encouraged me to join or participate in any fundraising initiatives.
That is going to benefit those needy children hence my involvement with the Icon 4Change to run the 400km challenge in 8 days in a bit to raise funds for those kids through the spirit of Ubuntu.
The spirit of doing good for the less fortunate, Forward Icons forward #Azishe.

We are The Icons Journey Marathon Foundation, A nonprofit subsidiary of The Icons Journey Marathon (Pty) Ltd multi-sporting event.
We are looking to raise enough funds to continue the good work we started in 2018 through our CSI initiative named Promote Sport For Social Change. We are promoting the sport to uplift our underprivileged rural and township communities. Over the years special focus has been on the schools in these communities.
Funds raised from this 400km Iconic Challenge will benefit over 4000 of these school kids in school shoes, sanitary towels, sports kits Nationally.
The event takes place in Eastern Cape in three district municipalities namely (Amathole, Chris Hani, and O.R Tambo Districts). Funds raised will however benefit schools Nationally.
Since 2018 we have been able to raise funds that have benefited over 500 village and township school pupils. With this initiative, we will amplify this number.
