Right now, she's facing a critical and urgent situation. Mariska urgently needs a neck spine disc replacement to avoid the terrifying possibility of paralysis, a risk that looms between 80-100%.

Mariska's world revolves around her six-year-old daughter, who just started grade 1 this year. Her daughter is her reason for fighting, her source of hope and joy. Knowing that her health directly impacts her little one's future, Mariska's determination to overcome this challenge is unwavering.

Unfortunately, the timing of Mariska's health crisis couldn't be worse. While she was supposed to undergo surgery this past Monday, her medical insurance provider has refused coverage, citing the accident as too far in the past. However, it's essential to understand that Mariska's health issues only began manifesting on the 24th of December.

Now, Mariska stands at a crossroads, grappling not just with the physical pain but also with the immense financial burden that this unexpected turn of events has placed upon her. As her friend, I can't stand idly by while she faces this uphill battle alone.
