I am fundraising on behalf of my mother who is in need of an urgent knee replacement operation. She is on a medical aid but due to the waiting period of 12 months her pain has now become difficult to manage.
As you can imagine, the cost of the procedure and the associated medical expenses are very high and my siblings and I have contributed to the initial amount necessary.
