Howdy!
I'm riding the 947 challenge in support of The Character Company which is commited to providing young boys without fathers with positive role models and MENtors in their lives, "raising boys to be good men". They do amazing work investing their time and resources into the future of these boys, have a look at their page below if you interested and want to get involved.
If you aren't up for the challenge yourself, help us raise some money towards supporting this great cause. I'll be joining and supporting a team of young boys as well as the fantastic people from The Character Company on this great trek (and hike if I see some of those uphills).
As somewhat of a couch potato, I only started training 6 weeks before the challenge (94.7km on a bike... eina!!). No matter what though, I WILL complete the challenge. Having your support for every km along the way is what will make the difference.

Other than the weekly and monthly programmes, holiday camps and “one-on-one” intervention we also focus on support for single mothers and raising awareness of the impact of absent fathers on our families and society.
