Hi all,

The two of us have signed up for an epic adventure on 29 October with a group of Madswimmers who have done some remarkable long distance and extreme swims around the world. We hope that you will cheer us on and donate generously to the causes we're trying to help at the same time.

We're aiming to be part of a group that swims the 34km length of Bazaruto island in a day - the first time something like this has been done before. We're likely to have to spend about 12 hours in the water & will have to deal with currents, Indian Ocean sea creatures and sun-burn, not to mention the chafing in the salt water for around 30,000 strokes to get to the end of our task.

Our own costs for the event will obviously be covered by us, and in keeping with the tradition the Madswimmer's have built to raise money for children in need, encourage you to help us by showing your generous support for the 3 charities this group will donate 100% of proceeds raised to:
