To whom it may concern:
My name is Malikah Swail, I am a Bachelor of Education student at the University of the Western Cape and I will be in my final year of my studies in the year 2024. I hail from the small little area in Cape Town called Ruyterwacht.
I have been presented with the prestigious opportunity to represent South Africa at a diplomats conference at the esteemed United Nations Best Diplomats Organisation which will take place in Istanbul, Turkey from the 01 March-04 March 2024.
In order to partake in this amazing opportunity, I need to raise funds to enable my participation in this conference. The Best Diplomats Organisation offers a unique platform for aspiring diplomats and for an aspiring educator like me to exchange ideas, broaden our perspectives, and enhance our skills. Attending this conference will provide me with invaluable networking opportunities and allow me to enhance my knowledge on global matters.
Attending this conference will have a significant impact on my personal and professional growth. This conference will empower me with the knowledge and insights needed to become a more effective advocate for justice and fairness globally. By attending, I will not only gain a deeper understanding of diplomacy but also develop the necessary skills to make a positive impact in my career as an educator.
The funds raised will be utilized for two crucial aspects of my participation in this conference. Firstly, approximately $1000 (+/- R18,000) will cover my accommodation expenses provided by the Best Diplomats Organisation, ensuring a comfortable and conducive environment for networking and learning. Secondly, a return flight to and from Cape Town to Turkey which will cover the essential travel expenses to and from the conference venue.
I sincerely appeal to you for support in helping me achieve this significant milestone in my journey as an aspiring educator . Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a profound difference and will be greatly appreciated. Together, we can empower young aspiring educators to shape a more just and equitable world.
